Southwestern Powerhouse Joins Prudential Network

The Americana Group, a powerhouse in the Las Vegas residential market, is becoming a Prudential Real Estate affiliate, the Las Vegas Business Press reported. At the end of March, Americana will end its franchise relationship with Better Homes and Gardens and re-brand itself Prudential-Americana. The combined company, which includes Prudential Southwest Realty, will have more than 700 sales associates statewide and an estimated sales volume of $1.3 billion annually, the weekly reported. Americana chief Mark Miscevic said he is impressed by Prudential"s network, which has 1,400 offices nationwide. We weren"t sure about Better Homes and Gardens" commitment to this market," he said, noting that the firm had recently been acquired by General Motors Acceptance Corp.
