NAR Partners With FNIS On Transaction Software

Offered by Fidelity National Information Solutions (NASDAQ:FNIS), TransactionPointTM is a single transaction platform that enables real estate professionals to order, confirm, and schedule the delivery of multiple real estate-related products and services. TransactionPointTM also standardizes and streamlines the process of managing and closing transactions, and creates a seamless link between Realtors, clients and service vendors. “Realtors and their clients will be able to log onto a secure Web site that’s password protected and check the status of their transaction through simple point-click navigation, 24 hours, seven days a week from anywhere,” said Bob Goldberg, NAR senior vice president of marketing and business development and head of the REALTOR VIPSM program. “It will allow Realtors to create transactions and to-do lists, update activities, upload documents, open escrows and monitor the entire closing process,” Goldberg said. “TransactionPointTM offers Realtors a unique discount off regular retail prices, and will also be available to brokers for bulk purchase with even more discounts through the REALTOR VIPSM program,” he said. When entered into the TransactionPointTM system, data flows to all related applications and application segments, increasing efficiency and reducing errors. This seamless flow allows speedier transactions, lower costs and reduced risk throughout the home purchase and ownership life cycle. Realtors will also have the opportunity to customize and brand the TransactionPointTM site to include their name, their broker’s name, and the company logo. The platform may also be used to track transaction activity and used as an audit tool. “We are extremely proud of NAR’s acceptance of TransactionPointTM into the REALTOR VIPSM program, as it validates our organization’s contribution to improving efficiencies and reducing the costs associated with real estate transactions,” said FNIS CEO Patrick F. Stone. “By providing Realtors with an integrated, efficient transaction management system, we’re helping to streamline their workload, so they can better serve their customers’ needs.” NAR members enjoy the benefits of NAR’s REALTOR VIPSM Program, which is designed to help Realtors gain the advantages of group buying power, plan for the future, and expand their professional knowledge through its more than 50 publications and educational offerings. The more than 30 REALTOR VIPSM strategic alliance partners, which make up the program, are leaders in their industries and committed to providing NAR members with special offerings tailored to their needs.
